Exciting transformations are on the horizon for downtown Prior Lake! In just three weeks, we will officially say goodbye to a building that has been a part of our community for decades. The T-Shirts & More building, which has long served as a hub for custom apparel and other businesses before it, will be making way for something fresh, vibrant, and full of new possibilities—Chula’s Mexican-Latin Restaurant, set to open in late 2025.

For years, the T-Shirts & More building has been home to hardworking business owners dedicated to serving Prior Lake. From local retail shops to cherished community gathering spots, this location has been a part of the town’s heartbeat. We want to take a moment to thank T-Shirts & More for their years of dedication, creativity, and service. While their physical storefront is closing, their legacy remains strong as they continue their business operations in Lakeville. To every business that has called this building home over the years—we appreciate the memories, the connections, and the contributions you’ve made to our town.
WELCOMING THE FUTURE WITH CHULA’S
As we bid farewell to a piece of Prior Lake history, we welcome an exciting new chapter! Chula’s Mexican-Latin Restaurant, the brainchild of longtime resident and acclaimed restaurateur Manny Perez, will bring bold flavors, a lively atmosphere, and a fresh dining experience to downtown Prior Lake. Named after his granddaughter, Chula’s will embody the warmth of family, tradition, and a passion for authentic Latin cuisine.
From handcrafted margaritas to scratch-made dishes infused with rich Mexican and Latin flavors, Chula’s promises to be a culinary destination like no other. The highly anticipated restaurant is set to open in late 2025, and we can’t wait to watch its progress as construction gets underway.
